Pink cools off

For years, runway makeup artists have shunned cool tones in favour of warmer shades. Certain blue-cast shades of pink were almost considered taboo and carried a dated, old-fashioned connotation. Fast forward to the current catwalks, where makeup artists used blue-ish shades of pink to make a strong statement, patting them on lips alone or pairing them with lilac eyes for a feminine effect. New technologies and luminescence, rather than frosty effects, render these new pinks pretty on any complexion.
